Mae Visuals is a husband-and-wife owned studio in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, created for people who need more than a room to shoot in. We offer private studio hire, podcast recording, brand content, portraits, family photography and selected digital support, all shaped around a calm, joined-up experience.

Mae Visuals brings together creative direction, thoughtful production and a clear client experience. Ama leads the photography and visual feel of the studio; Martin shapes the podcast recording, audio/video systems, digital work and customer journey around it.

Ama leads photography, styling and creative direction across portraits, motherhood, family and brand sessions. Her work is shaped by storytelling, culture, timeless stills, earthy tones and subtle minimalism, with enough guidance to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Martin Aryee

Martin leads the technical experience behind Mae Visuals, from podcast audio engineering, mic and camera setup and recording workflows to the website, booking journey and selected digital services. His focus is making the process feel clear before, during and after the shoot.

As a small, founder-led studio, clients work closely with the people shaping the space, the shoot and the final result. Clients often mention the same things: calm direction, a clean natural-light studio, patient family sessions and an organised experience from enquiry to delivery.

Sessions are guided enough to give the shoot structure, but relaxed enough to still feel like you, whether you are booking portraits, family images, motherhood photography or brand content. The aim is natural, timeless imagery without making the experience feel stiff.
